Our inventory database now includes inventory for both our Federal Way location and our Auburn location.
Because of this our inventory may look a little different. When browsing our inventory, look for the drop down menu underneath our logo on the left hand side of the page. This will allow you to browse our inventory by location! The location of the inventory item will also be shown at the bottom of the item's listing.
Please ensure any items you wish to pick-up are assigned to your preferred location. Please keep in mind we can only fulfill inventory at its home location and will not be transferring inventory in between locations.

The South King Tool Library is proud to work toward barrier-less access to tools, classes, workshops & events.
Membership is now FREE! All donations support our programs & allow us to sustain this model. Volunteering your valuable time is another way that you can contribute to this accessible model. Give the value you get! We ask members to consider making a feasible annual donation to help with operating costs. We accept donations through credit, cash, or check.
We do reserve the right to limit checkouts, suspend memberships, & hold individuals responsible for non-returned or damaged items.
Our goal is to have as many tools as possible in circulation at any time & for checkouts to be effective for the borrower. Damaged or long overdue items prevent that & could affect the amount of tools per loan or the duration of a loan for a violating member.

About Membership:
Membership is open to all.
Minors must have a co-signing adult.
No proof of ID is required. We ask for two viable forms of contact. (Phone, address, and/or email)
Members DO NOT HAVE to be residents of Federal Way, King County, or even Washington State.
Renewals are not automatic & should be approved by email, phone or reservation confirmation.
Reservations are highly recommended & encouraged.
We will NEVER charge your credit card without notification.
We are REASONABLE. If you have any questions, circumstances, suggestions, criticism, or thoughts - please don’t hesitate to contact us!
